Luke 1:37

Why do I always put limits on God?  Things I've read in the past week -

1) When Father Flanagan (Boys Town) was starting his first ministry - a shelter for homeless men - he and some others were trying to figure out how they could afford the things that were needed.  They added the figures and their resources came up short.  "You forget," Father Flanagan said, "Faith is also a resource."

2) "You have not, because you ask not."  James 4:2

3) When Christ fed the 5000, a boy shared his lunch.  The disciples were a bit dubious about the math.  5 + 2 = 7  They forgot that that's man's logic.  When God does the math, 5 + 2 = 5000 R 12  (paraphrased from Mark Batterson, The Circle Maker)
