Things I Learned This Thanksgiving


1. Using a platter instead of a plate means you don't have to go for seconds.

2. Playing "Apples to Apples" with a 4-year-old is fun, once he gets over the initial disappointment of finding out there are no real apples in the box.

3. Don't turn off the TV when young girls are watching the Jonas Brothers.

4. When you can't be with family, it's a blessing to have good friends.
