Some More of God's Math
A negative plus a positive equals a positive, if the absolute value of the positive addend is greater than the absolute value of the negative addend (example: -5 + 15 = 10).
Okay, so if we're dealing with a negative situation, and we add God into the equation, we can count on a positive result, because regardless of what the negative may be, we know that God is greater. In other words, Romans 8:28 is mathematically correct.

(re. chel's first comment) maybe it will help them remember the math rule :)
With God, being infinite of course, you can specialize the rule to x + ∞ = ∞ when x is any finite number. So no matter how negative x is, it really won't make a tangible dent to God's Goodness. Of course it's also true that no amount of good that we can do will change God's Goodness. It's all Him.

Wow, I do not like math. But I like this math. :) I've said for a while that God does fuzzy math - He makes things work out even when they shouldn't (by our logic). God's great - no wonder He's your hero!
