PFR
As you may know, the state of Georgia is in the midst of a horrible drought. Their governor has asked for prayer today (11/13). I really admire him for doing that. It makes me think of Jehosophat's humble prayer in II Chronicles 20:12 - "We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You." (It's an awesome story - read the whole chapter when you have time!)
Anyways, I'd just like to encourage you to pray today for rain in Georgia. God is great!!!

oh - and i thought yesterday was st. jehosophat day, so i was all excited, but turned out it was st. josophat day, which wasn't as exciting.
what's a st. josophat day?
there should be a st. jehosophat day. why don't you invent one? (could we jump?)
anyhow, georgia has a 20" rain deficit. water is being rationed and shipped in from alabama.
oh man! I had not heard. That's nuts! Here's hoping for some rain- or some de-salted ocean water?- do they not do that there?

btw, "PFR" makes me think of "VFD" ;)
i heard it on fox news, but it was in the context of "such-and-such group is protesting the governor because they say this violates separation of church and state"
how can it violate separation of church and state if the governor is asking for prayer, not forcing anybody to pray?

i smiled to myself when on the news last night they said, 'one day after a prayer service held by the governor georgia, rain fell across the state.' :D

oh... i guess i didn't know about the band... but yay, that's cool! especially that they said it on the news! :)
k, so i looked them up on youtube b/c i had no idea what they sang, and there are only 2 songs on there! and one's a remake of the beatles' song "we can work it out" (but it's set to cary grant movie clips, so it was fun to watch:) ... do they sing anything else i would know?
um...they're (were) a Christian band. you'd probably know some songs if you heard them. the lead singer was joel hanson (you've probably heard a couple of his songs, too). sorry - that was my helpfulness.
i just ran up to check a couple cds. songs that i know have been on the radio are 'anything,' 'all ready,' and 'missing love' (probably the one that's been on the most - a couple years ago). didder would also know 'goldie's last day,' but if that was ever on the radio it was years and years ago.
and one time larry the cucumber said that if they ever sang a song with the band ffh (far from home), they could be called pfffrh (and then he tried pronouncing it)
