Preschoolers

Scout says that in all fairness, I have to tell an embarrassing story about her dad, too. So hear it goes:
At Erma's preschool program the other day (she's assistant to the teacher, remember?), one of the little girls went up to D and asked, "Are you somebody's grandpa?"
D replied, "No, I'm Miss Erma's daddy."
The girl scrunched up her face and looked confused, because apparently Miss Erma has a really old daddy!

(kids are always saying/doing annoying things like that ... i once had a preschooler ask me why my nose is shiny -- in front of a cute boy!, and one preschooler last year, when i went to give him a five, said my hand was a lot bigger than his!:)
