Younger Men

A few years ago, Didder and I took the girls to the premiere of the movie "Sleepover", because we're the best mom and aunt ever. It was fun, because we got to go to MOA in our pajamas, and see the movie free (with pop and popcorn), and go on free rides at Camp Snoopy, and the girls got free makeovers and goodie bags. But the best part was Sean Faris. All 1000 or so preteen girls were going "Wow!" and all 1000 or so moms and aunts were going "Wow!" It was a happy day.
Scout and I were flipping channels today and "Sleepover" was on. There was Sean Faris. And I went "Wow!"

wow. that was a happy day. :)
go mr. hottie! and go moms and aunts swooning!
i've heard about that day! :) it does sound like fun ... i'm jealous of scout & erma for having such a fun aunt & mom! ;) and i might be inspired now to rent this movie as i have no idea who sean faris is ....
sean faris makes the entire movie worthwhile. and he makes you wish you were in high school again.
he kind of reminds me of the part at the end of 'sixteen candles' where michael schoeffling is leaning against the car and mouths the words 'yeah, you' (sooooo swoony!)
never seen it
you've never seen 'sixteen candles'? i thought every teenager had (but then, i'm old). it's not the world's greatest movie, but the michael schoeffling moments are worth watching
you've never seen sixteen candles?? (it's not your age, hobbitsister; i'm close to melilotnfosco's age & i've seen it -- it's famous! like breakfast club!)
haven't seen the breakfast club either
breakfast club is the ultimate high school movie. what kind of freaky teenager were you?
she hadn't seen clueless or can't buy me love either until i made her watch them! (gasp!) ;)
sorry, i haven't seen clueless (i'm too old), but i liked 'can't buy me love' - and now patrick dempsey has shown women everywhere why we should go for the nerdy guys.
you should watch clueless too, although it's a bit dated now and probably not QUITE as good as when it was new ... but i love paul rudd in that movie :D
sorry didder, i was too busy watching movies from my own time like 'she's all that,' and 'save the last dance' and 'bring it on,' and other ones that aren't coming to mind right now.
they just don't compare .... (shaking head)
hello...newsies
you were talking high school movies. newsies was jr. high.
