How to Not Be Bored
Last week, the girls made up Name Scrabble, which is "just like Scrabble, except everything has to be a name, like Tom, Florence, or Shaniqua". It's a lot harder than you'd think, and we ended up with mostly Teds, Neds, and Biffs.
This week, they came up with Dictionary Pictionary. You close your eyes, open the dictionary, and point. You have to draw whatever word you point to. Our drawings included Inaudible, Classical Conditioning, and Preppy.
At least it's some time spent away from the tv.

We will have to try name scrabble. C and I play "theme" scrabble where all the words have to fit a choosen theme. (Like summer, in a house, exercise, etc...) I would stink at Dictionary Pictionary, but it is really fun to say:)
can i play?
you know they'd love it
your themes are summer, houses, and exercise? yeah, right...
we also play "penalty catchphrase" - if you're holding the thing when the time runs out, everyone else gets to throw marshmallows at you
